Clothing refers to articles of clothing that are worn on the body. The majority of clothing is composed of fabrics or textiles, although garments made of animal skin or other thin sheets of materials sewn together have also been used in the history of fashion. Clothing is mostly confined to human beings and is a characteristic of all human cultures, regardless of their origin.
A sweater or pullover, also known as a jumper in British and Australian English and a windcheater in certain areas of Australia, is an item of clothing that covers the top half of the body and is generally constructed of knitted or crocheted material. Sweaters and pullovers are most commonly worn by women. A T-shirt, sometimes known as a tee shirt, is a type of fabric shirt called after the T shape formed by the body and sleeves of the shirt. This style is traditionally short-sleeved with a round neckline (sometimes known as a crew neck), and it does not have a collar. A tee shirt is often constructed of a flexible, lightweight, and cheap. A blouse is a loose-fitting top garment that has been worn by laborers, peasants, artists, women, and children for centuries in many cultures. It is generally gathered around the waist or hips, allowing it to hang freely over the wearer's body while yet providing coverage. Today, the term is most often used to refer to a dress shirt worn by a girl or a woman. A tracksuit is a piece of apparel that is composed of two parts: pants and a jacket, which is generally fastened with a zipper on the front. In its original form, it was designed for use in sports, namely for athletes to wear over competition gear and remove before competition. In recent years, it has grown increasingly popular to wear it in various settings. Most varieties of clothing originating in South Asia are recognized as pajamas, jammies, or Jim-jams across the world. Pyjamas are a type of loose-fitting bottom wear used in Asia and the Middle East known as pajamas. They are popular in the West. Dresses are clothes for women and girls that consists of a skirt with a bodice attached to the skirt. This garment wraps around the torso and falls off of the lower legs. A dress can be worn for a formal or informal occasion, and can be any length. Additionally, clothes may serve as a barrier to prevent the entry of potentially hazardous and infectious objects into the body. Additionally, clothing provides UV protection. Clothing is also a social norm and is connected with modesty. The Gleam Team Group – A point of interest.
